Power Armor Countdown #19

Yet another stop on the road to the pinnacle of power armor perfection for today. In this case we are making another return to the realm of video game power armor, but instead of a first person shooter or role playing game, we venture into the world of real time strategy.
Yes, the Terran Marine from StarCraft. I am quite fond of the StarCraft franchise, having spent many a fond hour playing both the campaign and multiplayer of the first installment. The second seemed like it was going to be even better, but unfortunately it just came too late after the first. While a great game, I am simply too much of an adult to devote the kind of time to it that I did the first. Sad panda.

In any event, the Terran Marine is you typical neurologically reworked convict who has been brainwashed, amped on stimms, and encased in butt-kicking armor to make him a match for devious Protoss and feral, slavering Zerg. Well, sort of a match anyway. For those of you who are not that into how great the Terrans in StarCraft are, I encourage you to watch this video...

Hmm. Don't Zealots have a pretty good claim to a spot? It would certainly seem like power armor to me...

The Encounter suit is arguably a pretty good contender. I think zealots actually wear un-powered armor with an energy shield.

However, while the list is not all posted at this moment, I seem to have made the unintentional and completely arbitrary exclusion of any non-human power armor.
