Pre Order Critique: Forge World Relic Contemptor

Well, it looks like it is time for another pre-release review. Since I am a little more on top of these things lately, this one is even before the model has been released. What an idea!
In any event, today we will be looking at the forthcoming Forgeworld Relic Contemptor Dreadnaught. The idea here is basically the same as the Venerable Dread, except that the differences here seem to only be cosmetic. What it boils down to is that since Contemptors are so few in number and such ancient and powerful technology, the Chapters which own them pimp them out to an extent. I think it's a neat idea, though in the level of resolution in the shots they emailed me in the newsletter, I am hard pressed to even tell you what is different.

Put it this way; it costs the same, so you're not really out anything for going with whichever one you think is cooler.

Note: This is a guest post by KE554, since Counterfett is currently out of commission with nerve damage. Stay tuned folks.

I like it - seems a bit more "grim-dark" than the standard one. Which is helpful for 40k, but if you're wanting more of a pre-Heresy vibe then the original is better!
