Top 30 Sci-Fi Tanks! Number 14!

Welcome back all! Today's installment sees a return to the genre of Real Time Strategy video games, the Command & Conquer franchise in particular. Home of some of the very best tanks, today's entry comes form Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge expansion, which while odd overall, did have some shining moments. Who doesn't love a tank whose main weapons are its treads?

#14 Allied Battle Fortress.
Looking like a king sized version of the M113 APC, the Battle Fortress is a tank without a tank gun. It was designed as a tank killer, and performs that role admirably, both by using fire ports to tote loads of infantry borne firepower, and by simply crushing smaller vehicles under its churning treads.
The versatility of it's infantry ports made it easy to configure the Battle Fortress to any role, be it anti-tank, anti-infantry, or even anti-air. Plus, the driver was Scottish, which always confers a few extra cool points.
