Top 30 Sci-Fi Tanks! Number 2!

Hey folks, Counterfett here. We're back with another day of the Tanksgiving Top Thirty! We're in the top two now, and I have a question for you. How long has it been since we've done a Command & Conquer vehicle? A week? Ten Days? Never you mind, it's back, and bigger and badder than ever. Hailing from the almost universally reviled C&C 3: Kane's Wrath, today's contestant has what it takes...if what it takes is a huge gun and a refinery on wheels!

#2: M.A.R.V.
Standing for Mammoth Armed Reclamation Vehicle, the M.A.R.V. lives up to that name, but is so much more! Designed by the Global Defense Initiative to both cleanse the Earth of Tiberium and the Brotherhood of Nod, M.A.R.V. accomplioshes both tasks with glorious aplomb!

The tank sports a wicked tribarrel cannon, and can provide bunkers for up to four supporting squads of infantry to supplement its own massive firepower. Not content to merely mete out destruction, however, M.A.R.V. also sucks raw tiberium crystals right off the ground, converting them to resources for the controlling player (quicker, albiet at a lower value per unit than the traditional collector). A significant late game strategy for GDI involves using a M.A.R.V. to suck up tiberium convenient to the enemy, while crushing opposing units sent to free the tiberium fields.
