Sci-D'Arms Countdown #16

Good morning folks, hope you all are having a fun week so far. Mine is about rounding out. I ended up having to come home yesterday because I had rubbed my eye after I got gas in the car, and it got all closed and gross. Feeling better today though. In any event, today seems to buck the game-movie-game-movie trend we had going for a bit there as we stick to video games for the now.

#16 M3 Predator

It's a cool looking gun.
Mass Effect's Predator is not the best gun in the game by a long shot. That said, it's not that bad either. In all iterations, it is a middle of the road weapon, which usually has the most ammo, decent damage per shot, and can be fired more quickly than other models. In Mass Effect 3, it is also the lightest pistol, which is a virtue of its own for classes which rely on light weight for recharge power.

Stuff like this helps too.
Additionally, since a big chunk of the games'  cutscenes assign the Predator as all characters' default weapon, it is sort of the iconic weapon for the franchise in many landmark moments.

It has a special place in my heart, since I once played through Mass Effect 2 & 3 as an engineer using no weapon but the M3 Predator, just to prove it could be done.
