Crayola has had a fairly interesting move to diversify lately, with forays into non-traditional crafts as well as toys. I can only presume this one was unsuccessful, since I came across these marker-cum-action figures at the ninety-nine cents store. Still, pretty cute. And I've always loved stationary items that try to get around that 'no toys at school' stricture.
They are in essence regular markers with printed faces on them. The arms legs, and accessories are slide on, like the old fashioned finger pads used to be. The arms are even articulated. It's sad that these markers make better toys than the original Kenner Star Wars action figures, but there you have it.
I bought the Mulberry Mage and Sandy Samurai. You can probably figure out which is which.
